The debarker(log debarker) is an absolutely necessary equipment of wood processing field. The function of debarker is debarking the barks of log( wood, timber, lumber).Debarking is usually the first step of wood processing (wood working) after felling the trees.
The debarker(log debarker) including several series according to the debarking theory. It included the Ring Debarker(rotor debarker), Drum Debarker and Rotary Debarker. Each series has its advantage and disadvantage. The customer should choose according to their requirement. For example, the Ring Debarker could be used for most kinds of trees but the capacity is low for the small diameter trees. The Drum Debarker has high capacity but it is not suitable for the logs with big diameter. The Rotary Debarker has high capacity and comparatively cheap price but has strict limitation for the species of trees. It is only suitable for the trees whose barks are easily to be debarked, such as the poplar (Alamo, aspen) and eucalyptus (eucaplyt) and the logs( wood, timber, lumber) must be fresh. The dry wood could not use the rotary debarker.
